The second desk for IP21:
These images are pre-sanding and finishing. The top still has the protective paper on it, but it's 3/4 thick plexiglass. As with the other table, this one has no hardware holding it together...just the pressure of the joints.

Brian, I am really impressed by both these IP21 desks, both design and execution. Also the clear photo explanations.
Someday you must meet our friend Jamie Cook, chief carpenter for our DC house restoration--he too enjoyed designing hardware-less free-standing shelves, etc.
P.S. Our cat Pip also prefers the smallest possible box.
